Art

We really value Art & Design at Royston St John Baptist CE Primary School. We believe that our curriculum and the teaching of Art & Design in our school provides children with a creative outlet to explore and express their emotions. It can also help to build resilience and develop social skills. For many of our children, the teaching of art & design can be a creative outlet for releasing emotions, as well as being a subject that everyone can achieve in, regardless of academic ability. Every piece of art is the result of our imagination and is an indicator of our creative talents. It is a subject for all to enjoy at different levels, without exception.

‘The world is a canvas but to the imagination.’

Henry David Thoreau
