Our children in school and remote learning from home really enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. We created our own dragon dances, produced Chinese lanterns and lucky money envelopes, and we learned about the traditions that take place at Chinese New Year. Something that we spotted was that we all have very similar ways of celebrating occasions that are special to us such as; having new party clothes, eating fabulous foods, spending time with family and friends and giving and receiving presents.
